The MightyShakes® brand has joined the Hormel Vital Cuisine™ brand family. Millions of cartons of MightyShakes® are consumed annually in health care facilities, and when patients leave care centers they often want to continue to have access to these tasty, nutritious products. The brand change will introduce the popular MightyShakes® to Hormel Vital Cuisine™ consumers, and give them an additional product for transitioning through different care provider settings, including the transition to homecare.
One change you’ll notice is that we’ve started using lab-tested nutritional values versus calculated nutritional values, which means you’ll be seeing an increase of 20-30 calories depending on portion size.
MightyShakes® are a great option for those needing additional dietary calories and protein. They’re available in 4 and 6 ounce servings, and come in 5 delicious flavors; Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, and Orange Creme. For those needing additional calories, there is also a PLUS option, which features even more protein and calories.
